The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts presents the Chamber Music Series featuring Legacy in Strings by Miró Quartet, Sunday, December 7 from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM in the Grand Hall of the museum.
Experience the power and precision of one of America’s premier string quartets in a concert of masterful chamber works. Featuring Daniel Ching, violin, William Fedkenheuer, violin, John Largess, viola, Joshua Gindele, cello.
The Miró Quartet is one of America’s most celebrated string quartets, praised as “furiously committed” by The New Yorker and recognized for its “exceptional tonal focus and interpretive intensity” by the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
For nearly 30 years, the GRAMMY-nominated quartet has performed on the world’s most prestigious concert stages, earning accolades from critics and audiences alike. Based in Austin, TX, and thriving on the area’s storied music scene, the Miró takes pride in finding new ways to communicate with audiences of all backgrounds while cultivating the longstanding tradition of chamber music.
Admission is $15 General Admission, $8 Seniors and Military, free to students. Season passes can be purchased for $84. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite and in the SAMFA Gift Shop and include exhibits access on the date of the performance. Light refreshments will be provided.
